AMT U60W1.1 offers a slightly larger vertical radiation angle. So it‘s ideally suited for situations with a short listening distance. Both convince with the decisive quality features of the AMT U.Series with Mundorf diaphragm: Exceptionally low K3 / K5 distortion data, a truly powerful music performance within the entire application range and, at the same time, the fine micro-dynamics and richness of music details that distinguish all Mundorf AMT’s.Our AMT U.Series tweeters are gaining more and more popularity among discerning DIY loudspeaker builders too. In order to meet their demands in terms of precise but easy baffle-front mounting and quality finish, from now on, every U.Series model will come also with an attractive black aluminum face plate. A precisely fitting cutout in the back of the 6mm! thick plate ensures that the AMT motor unit is perfectly centered and can be integrated flush into the loudspeaker baffle with an enlarged contact surface.

For to make Mundorf Angel Hair, the TWARON® base fibres are processed several times: The TWARON® fibres with their immense number of hairs are first cut into 60 mm long sections, herafter karded, mixed and finally carefully pressed into a mass. In contrast to fibreglass and other plastic fibres, TWARON® conducts heat generated vibrations away very well and absorbs this type of acoustic motion energy in a fundamentally different manner than other known materials which are commonly used for this purpose.
