MCoil VS • Feron I-Core Resin-Impregnated

The MCoil VS is our I-core inductor with a Feron core and resin-soaked round wire – compact, PCB-ready and designed for maximum calm in operation. Feron is not standard transformer sheet metal; it consists of grain-oriented silicon iron with very low remagnetization losses for clean small-signal reproduction and very late-onset saturation under load.

As an I-core it exploits these material advantages in a particularly economical, easily integrable design and, thanks to its large air gap and open magnetic circuit, remains exceptionally load-capable for its size.

The resin soaking fixes the winding as a solid unit, significantly reducing winding vibrations and thus macro-microphony, so the sound gains calm, contour and fine dynamics. The MCoil VS thus combines compact Feron performance with further increased mechanical stability – ideal when the highest precision and clean dynamics are required in PCB mounting.
