What began with coils has grown into a complete portfolio of premium components for almost every audio application. Whether in the studio, on stage, in the car or at home – wherever music comes to life, our capacitors, inductors, AMT tweeters, resistors, wires and other products contribute to an engaging listening experience.
Macro-Microphony
In wound components, electromagnetic forces create mechanical vibrations. This costs energy and overlays the signal with distortion and noise – detail and spatiality are lost. Through purposeful design we eliminate these effects and preserve dynamics, precision and sonic purity.
Micro-Microphony
Microscopic effects within the material, such as lattice vibrations and electron scattering, subtly affect the signal. They cannot be avoided entirely – but they can be controlled. Using special alloys and tightly controlled processes, we optimize the resonance behavior for maximum signal purity.
Electrical Parameters
Capacitance, inductance and losses determine behavior – but they are not constant. They vary with frequency, temperature and voltage, shaping the sound. That is why we develop and test across all relevant ranges to ensure stability, low losses and musical balance.

Before the first coil was wound in 1985, the foundation had long been laid – in a childhood full of music, curiosity and enthusiasm for technology. From these beginnings grew a company that developed into an internationally respected reference brand for high-end audio components – with Mundorf components now found in some of the world’s most renowned loudspeaker systems and amplifiers.
