MCoil VT · Feron Transformer Core Resin-Impregnated

The MCoil VT is our Feron E-core inductor (transformer core) with resin-soaked round wire – the powerhouse solution for maximum power handling at very low R_DC. It allows even large inductances to be realized with very low internal resistance, enabling maximum control, level stability and dynamics, especially in the bass and lower midrange. Power handling is typically beyond 1000 watts.

The resin soaking fixes the winding as a stable unit and significantly reduces winding vibrations and thus macro-microphony, so that less energy is lost in the form of mechanical movement. The sound therefore gains calm, contour and fine dynamics, even at very high levels.

The MCoil VT is typically mounted in the cabinet and is the first choice when uncompromising performance under load is required.
