MCap Classic 250V
The MCap 250 is the most compact model in the MCap Classic series. It allows even large capacitances to be realized in a comparatively compact form – ideal for applications with limited space, without compromising on high-quality sound characteristics.
Aluminum metallization (100% aluminum instead of zinc-aluminum mixture)
Pure aluminum metallization replaces the zinc-aluminum mixture commonly used in industry with a homogeneous metal structure. This reduces interface effects at the grain boundaries , stabilizes the conductivity across the electrode surface and results in a significantly quieter noise spectrum. For example, the basic design of an MCap is audibly different from typical industrial capacitors.

MCap Classic 400V
The MCap 400 series features a thicker foil and a larger winding, which mechanically stabilizes the capacitor and reduces Macro-Microphony effects. This noticeably improves playback precision compared to the MCap 250.
