Terminal Posts

Our terminal posts of the TPCU series were developed to meet the highest demands on mechanical precision and minimal sonic influence. Machined in Germany from a solid piece of OFC copper, these terminal posts sound “outrageously” natural and relaxed. An optimized geometry and the elaborate manufacturing process enable a maximum conductor cross-section, while unnecessary contact resistances are eliminated.

Since pure copper posts must be cleaned regularly with copper polish to prevent oxidation, we alternatively offer silver-plated (passivated) as well as gold-plated versions that require no maintenance whatsoever.

The scope of delivery always includes two nuts, a washer, and a spring washer for secure mounting, as well as installation insulators that simultaneously serve as anti-rotation protection and to mark the polarity.

In addition to the red and black versions available from stock, we also offer special colors on request.

Metal mounting plates are only conditionally suitable for installation, since the posts, carrying current in opposite directions, induce voltages into the metal plate. These extract energy from the music signal depending on the current: the higher the power, the greater the induction and the associated energy loss.
