MCoil VP • Aronit PipeCore Resin Soaked

The MCoil VP is our Aronit tube-core inductor, based on an Aronit P-core and a resin-soaked winding – the most benign and most load-capable Aronit variant, with significantly reduced macro-microphony. The magnetically open circuit provides very late-onset, soft saturation and thus maximum current and dynamic reserve without sonic harshness.

Compared to the Aronit H-core, the power handling rises considerably due to the later onset of saturation. At the same time, the open magnetic circuit requires more turns on the coil. The R_DC is therefore higher than that of the H-core for the same wire cross-section. The resin soaking bonds the turns into a solid unit, so that winding vibrations and thus macro-microphonic artifacts drop sharply and the sound gains calm, contour and fine dynamics.

This makes the MCoil VP a good choice for high-current bass and lower-midrange applications with elevated level requirements, when maximum mechanical calm is also demanded.
