MCoil VH • Aronit DrumCore Resin Soaked

The MCoil VH is our Aronit H-core inductor with a robust iron-powder composite core for high currents in a compact design. The relatively closed magnetic circuit enables comparatively low R_DC values with good current-handling capability and makes the MCoil VH ideal for bass and lower-midrange sections when space requirements and DC resistance are critical.

Compared to ferrite, Aronit behaves more benignly under load and offers considerably higher reserves; compared to Feron, it is the pragmatic solution with higher DC resistance and lower maximum reserve. The conductor is an OFC copper round wire, precisely wound. The winding is resin-soaked and thereby bonded into a solid unit, which significantly reduces winding vibrations and thus macro-microphony.

The saturation reserve of the H-core is lower than that of the Aronit P-core, but in return the design remains particularly efficient and space-saving.
