MCoil H • Ferrite DrumCore

The MCoil H is our ferrite roll-core inductor in an H-core design based on the high-performance ferrite HP3616 – compact, precise and exceptionally clean at small-signal levels. Thanks to its relatively closed magnetic circuit it operates very efficiently magnetically and enables, for a given inductance, particularly low R_DC values in a compact design.

This combination plays extremely clearly and with great definition as long as the currents remain moderate. At high levels, however, it reaches its saturation limit earlier than P-core variants and is therefore not intended as a pure high-current bass inductor.

The MCoil H is ideal for correction networks, equalizers and precise midrange applications.
