MCoil CFC · Air-Core Coil Copper Foil PP

The MCoil CFC is our air-core coil with a copper-foil conductor and polypropylene insulation – uncompromisingly free of core-related effects and fully linear even at high levels. The turns of the PP-insulated copper foil lie tightly on top of one another over a large area, creating an extremely compact and dimensionally stable winding assembly.

As a result, the MCoil CFC exhibits considerably less macro-microphony than a baked varnish round-wire coil, because mechanical co-vibration is suppressed even more strongly. This brings a noticeable gain in calm, fine resolution and stable dynamics: the component stays “silent” and does not intrude on the music signal as a source of interference. This makes the CFC a massive step toward macro-microphonic optimization.
