MCoil BL · Air-Core Coil Baked Varnish / Resin-Impregnated

The MCoil BL builds on the strengths of the MCoil L: as an air-core coil it remains uncompromisingly free of core-related effects and operates fully linearly even at high levels. The decisive advance is the significantly increased mechanical calm of the winding through fixation – depending on the version, either via baked varnish wire or by resin soaking.

As a result, noticeably less energy is lost to vibration, which leads to a clear gain in dynamics, attack and control. At the same time, the reduced macro-microphony lessens the masking of the finest dynamic details: fine resolution, texture and spatial imaging become clearer and more precise. Whether BL or VL is used depends on the respective coil size.
