Optimized Winding Tension plus Stabilization

In the classic coil with optimised winding tension and stabilization, the winding tension and mechanical design are adjusted so that the capacitor coil is stable and quiet right from the start. This is because a coil is not only an electrical component, but also a mechanical structure: If it is excited by vibrations or signal-related field forces, resonances can occur, which are reflected on the music signal as macro-microphonic effects.

Thanks to the precisely adjusted winding tension, the wrap holds its shape securely and does not rock up. Additional stabilizing measures further calm the structure and reduce extensive wrapping movements. This makes the MCap Classic mechanically much quieter than typical industrial capacitors — and remains so even under dynamic load.
