Ferrite PipeCore
The P-core gives ferrite considerably more current reserve than the H-core. The small-signal purity of ferrite is retained while saturation sets in later. In return, more windings and a higher RDC are required. This combination is more robust against level peaks yet stays compact. It suits midrange applications with higher dynamics or a gentle transition into the lower midrange.

Ferrite tube-core coil based on the high-performance ferrite HP3616 for compact and precise small-signal applications. The P-core design offers higher current reserves and a later saturation onset than comparable H-core ferrite coils, with a slightly higher RDC.
