Ferrite in an H-core combines high magnetic efficiency with very low baseline distortion at small signal levels. The closed magnetic circuit allows compact designs with low RDC. This combination works extremely cleanly as long as currents stay moderate. At high levels, however, it reaches the saturation limit sooner than other variants. It is ideal for correction networks, equalization circuits and precise midrange applications.
