40 Years of Mundorf, and Plenty Still Ahead
In 2025 Mundorf celebrated its 40th anniversary. For four decades we have been developing and manufacturing audio components with one clear goal: to reproduce music as faithfully as possible.
The anniversary year was an occasion for us to look back and remember many of the milestones that shaped us: the first inductors we wound ourselves, pioneering capacitor developments, the move into AMT technology, and the many people, projects and encounters that accompanied us along the way. From our small beginnings in Cologne we have grown into a company whose components are used worldwide in loudspeakers, amplifiers and professional audio systems. And after four decades, new materials, products and technologies keep emerging. The last 40 years are therefore not only history to us. They are the basis for what comes next. Thank you to our customers, partners, dealers, developers, DIY enthusiasts and our team for a special anniversary year.
