In order to contradict recently occurred rumours in the Asian market we expressly declare:

First MUNDORF EB GmbH has never, does not and will not provide differently branded OEM capacitors!

Second All customized MUNDORF OEM products are evidently marked *by MUNDORF* at the very least!

Third All of our products labelled *Made in Germany* are definitely made in Germany.

Please note: German based manufacturers have to document the origin of products and parts to varied government authorities on their demand. Mislabelling is treated as a severe criminal offence in Germany and shall be cursed with considerable penalties.


Regarding silver/gold-wire from dubious origin in Korea

For orders from Korea please do contact SOUNDFORUM only, to make sure buying original MUNDORF products.


Regarding suspected counterfeit MCaps in China

We herewith expressly declare:

Over the past time, varied MCap types and values have been delivered with differing imprints in order to match the actual status of development in both the legal and company’s respect.

For example, the ® sign, of course, was introduced after the item’s appropriate registration. That alone applies to 6 different items registered at different times. Also typography can vary as well as the words itself. Thus over the years quite a few different imprints appeared on the MCaps.

The bottom line is: Differing imprints do not necessarily indicate a counterfeit. Neither do minor differences in dimensions which are due to manufacturing condition in terms of different machines in use at different periods of production times and which are meaningless for the cap’s performance. Also the cap’s weight could differ due to the housing’s slightly differing thickness which is meaningless as well.
